Our Ceramic Guest Book Platter
makes a wonderful keepsake for future generations.
They are a unique way to replace the traditional wedding guest books. A hand painted, personalized platter is packaged safely
and sent to you or your loved one.
The finished piece is food-safe and dishwasher safe. The
names of your guests are permanently applied to the platter.

A special ceramic
marker is sent along with instructions. Guests sign the
platter at the event with a special ceramic marker.
After the event, fire the platter in your home oven
for 30 minutes at 300°F. |

We currently offer platters in six popular shapes and sizes. The larger the platter you select, the more surface are you will have for guests to sign.
Keep the following in mind - select a platter based on it's end use. In other words, is the bride going to display her platter on the mantel or use it to serve Thankgsgiving turkey? Generally, one person from each family will sign your platter so figure you will have about half the total guests signing. We have never heard from a customer that guests ran out of room to sign.
Our 16" round platter and 18.5" rectangular platter both have the largest surface area to sign. Yes, guests can sign the back of the platter, too. |

Add a colorful border design to your Signature Platter. For just $10 extra, we can add one of three border designs to your platter: Solid Wash, Dots or Beaded. We'll use the color you specify or select a complimentary color for you.

| Platters are guaranteed to be delivered to you no later than
2 weeks from the date you place your order with standard UPS Ground
shipping. If you need your kit sooner than two weeks from today,
please select the "rush order" option. A non-refundable $35
fee will be added to your order. Rushed orders will be be given
priority for the next firing and typically ship the next day or
the following day. Please select the appropriate shipping method

How does this work?
Our handmade ceramic guestbook kit will arrive containing
everything you need - the ceramic guestbook platter,
the marker and instructions. Fire the finished platter
in your home oven for 30 minutes at 300°F to permanently
adhere the signatures. That's all there is to it!
How long will it take to receive
my ceramic guestbook kit?
Please allow 2-3 weeks to receive your platter kit.
If you need it sooner, please contact us to make special
arrangements.
What if my ceramic guestbook item
breaks before I receive it?
Even though our ceramic guestbook items have been fired
twice and are therefore fairly sturdy, we cannot guarantee
that they will arrive in one piece. We take the utmost
care in packaging your kit. You may be asked to provide
proof that the item arrived broken. Please see our returns
policy.
What if we lose the pen?
You may consider purchasing an extra pen just in case
one gets misplaced at the event. ONLY use the pen provided
to sign the item. If you use any other pen on the item,
the ink will not be permanent.
What if the item gets broken at
the wedding reception or bridal shower?
Please, take care with the ceramic guestbook item
once you receive it. While it has been fired twice,
it is still ceramic and fragile. We recommend assigning
someone responsible to oversee the platter table at
the reception. If the platter is on a hard, stable surface,
most guests can sign without touching the platter at
all.
What kits are currently available?
Our oval platter measures 15.5" x 10.75".
We have a larger oval platter that is 18.5" x 14".
Our smaller platter is heart shaped and measures 10.25"
x 10.5". Our round platter measures 16" in
diameter.
How many signatures will fit?
It is wise to suggest to your guests to sign small
and to write their name and not a whole speech. Although
it is impossible to give an accurate count of signatures
for any given platter, we estimate the larger oval platter
can accommodate up to 150 signatures and the smaller
heart shaped platter can accommodate up to 100 signatures.
The large oval platter can probably fit about 300 signatures.
The round platter can probably accommodate about 300
signatures. Remember: most guests will choose one member
to represent the entire family so figure on about half
as many signatures as you have guests.
We would like to add here that we have seen platters
absolutely filled to the brim with signatures and it
looks awesome! One platter had over 300 signatures on
it - we counted them!
What is your pricing policy?
The cost of our kits includes the ceramic platter,
one special marker, and instructions.
What if I am not pleased with my
finished platter? Are they returnable?
Because each item is custom made for your event, we
can not accept returns on ceramic guestbook items. We
will only offer a full refund if your item arrives broken
with the exception of rush order fees.
Are the signed, glazed platters
food-safe?
Yes, they are. Once your signed platter has been
baked in your home oven, it is food-safe and diswasher-safe.
The signatures are permanently glazed onto the ceramic
piece and will not wash off. The signatures won't come
off in the dishwasher or under hot water. Do not use
abrasive detergents to clean your platter or abrasive
cleaning tools like scouring pads. Avoid using sharp
knives on your platter. |
